I have always hated the idea of Chinese students expecting their foreign teachers to sing and dance in front of them for entertainment.

They liked and enjoyed their classes with their Chinese English teachers because they teach their lessons in chinese, joke with them in Chinese...of course it's a lot easier for them to undersand eveything that way.

They always want everything to be easy...serious lessons by these "fat" "ugly" foreign teachers seem to them a punishment ... "i like apples, bananas, hamburger", for them is English per se.

Chinese education system is rotten. Both sides are to be blamed. Students get out of college without enough knowledge and skill because attending classes for them is just like going to the movies or taking a nap...and their Chinese teachers tolerate these.

When will they ever change?
