I agree and you will certainly find many teachers of that sort in China. Unfortunatly the likes of Choatle and Silverboy, who do their utmost to dominate these pages with negative ranting, only reinforce this situation.

The good news is that their are a number of good teachers working in China, and also a number of relatively good schools where they work. I had been in similar situations in China, which I abandoned, and I've been very happy with my current school the last 6 months. (I work for Aston, and am about to sign a new contract with them to live and teach in another city).

With the number of sachools to choose from in China I would suggest moving on to a place where you are going to be happy and challenged as a teacher, as well as respected and valued by your school and students.
