I am happy to hear that you want to teach. I love my own career.

May I suggest that you go for a Bachelor's degree in Education, when you get into College, or take an English major? Either one will be of benefit to you in teaching ESL.

An ESL certificate is useful if you have another type of Degree/Subject. However, if you have either of these other two (English or Education), you really do not need the ESL paper. You will already have covered the topic(s) that an ESL would give you.
