I would suggest Pimsleur for you speaking and listening. It actually forces your to speak, because the man asks you tons of questions such as "How do you say, I don't want to go.?" Then a pause, then a Chinese person will say it for your comparison. "Wo bu xiang qu." There are like 90 lessons and it's great! For reading and writing the possibilities are endless, but I bought a basic 500 character book. In most cases, if I learn to write the character, I have a far greater chance of remembering it.

You can DL Pimsleur off www.mininova.org as I doubt you could find it in a store here in China. You can also type 'Chinese Tools' into google, and there are a ton of great sites there as well. A great tool for your computer is DimSum, it's free and quick to DL. Just type it into a search engine.
