I'd like to teach English in China by August and am still confused on what I should expect salary-wise. I'd like to live in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing, and Shenzhou for the most part. I am a 24 year old male and have a BBA from the University of Oklahoma in Accounting & Finance. My relevant work experience is from a Big 4 accounting firm (training new hires periodically), tutoring for 3 years while at university, and teaching preschool at a church.
- From my understanding, I should have a Z visa before I get to China, because a tourist visa cannot be converted. Is that right?
- I've talked to several people and am having trouble knowing if they are legitimate.
I'd like to teach at University level. What should I expect? Has anyone had a good experience at a school in any of the cities and can direct me to somebody?
You can reply to me here or email me at ilovethepups@gmail.com.
Thanks!
