A very illuminating article! Many thanks! Unfortunately, I have to agree woth most of the theories put forth within, especially those of Fareed Zakariah. I had so many amazing experiences during my 5 years in China, but I also beacme aware that the rest of the world should be VERY fearful of China becoming the dominant global economic power. In my opinion, that would be an enormous disaster, on several levels. The West must discard the old economic models and innovate new ways to remain on top.
