I have to teach a group of 15 boys, who are approxiamtely 15 years of age. They are Gulf Arab boys, Emiratis. I don't know the group yet, but Emirati boys are a bit restless, and occasionally, can cause discipline problems. Their English is probably not that good, and at a beginner or high beginner level. They come from public schools, which are noted for their poor educational standards.

What are some do's and don't for this age group (and for this culture) in terms of how I should treat them, so I can get their attention and discipline, while having a good time? I am more of a traditional teacher of adults, and am not used to teaching this age group. They also need a lot of variety; are there any resources out there?
