I agree totally. Some Chinese recruiters do a great job. Not only has the one I use never tried to cheat me, but he has negotiated great deals on my behalf with my new employers.
I was somewhat taken aback when I recently received a job offer out of the blue from an employer I can only assume my agent had approached before on my behalf. You see, I hadn't asked my agent to look for work for me at that time. So, I e-mailed my agent about the matter. He was very angry, and said that university's FAO was trying to cheat him out of his commission, and that he would never introduce foreign teachers to there ever again!
It seems that some university FAO's can be bottom-feeders too, not just Chinese recruiters!
