Turnoi's ESL "community" angle is a really interesting one. The diversity in this biz is unbelievable. What's offered to us is yet another billion different cups of tea..or coffee :) How do we come to agreements and a uniformity anywhere? And, imagine you're in this biz for a couple decades but then you decide to "move on". Where do you go? I was a duty manager in one of the Toronto hotels once. Things changed and computer systems of hotels as well. How do I get retrained? Who'd hire a 45 year old fart? I might have to see to that as the situation in China has gotten out of the wise peoples hands.
Cheers and beers
