SAFEA is all well and good in China but they do little. What usually happens is you end up before the labor board. If they cannot help you, you'll be given a form that sends you into court that tells the court that the labor board cannot help you which then establishes the jurisdiction or the courts to take action. All things considered, I would suggest that people avoid the labor boards and the courts and just call the boys over at Beijing Blacklist and let them go to work on your problem. They are a bit of a twisted bunch but their methods get results and the corrupt lying SOB's that run schools get the message clearly and settlement is always effective as they do their thing. They focus on a vigilante frame work which works wonders on the SOB's that deserve their attention. If more FT's just took matters into their own hands after being victimized, these boards would be quieter because SOB's would be less likely to even try to scam someone anyway. After watching the boys at Beijing Blacklist dangle a man from the 40th floor of a high rise by his ankles, and after he urinated and vomited, he was pleased to pay the more than 200,000 RMB owed to many teachers and return their passports which were being illegally used in Guangzhou for the importation of cars.

Their patented search, destroy, and renovate the owner's offices, homes and cars is also an added level of entertainment that is part of the package.
