Some people who work for western concerns will be getting much more than this. Dont assumme that everyone is working for chinese wages, many are on western wages and extra pay for hardship (ie being posted abroad). A UK teacher for instance gets about 20 thousand pounds a year times that by 15 for chinese money and thats just a newly qualified teacher.
