The problem was from Clyde's perspective is that he was in the minority on this site; however, I think that even Silverboy would have to concede that if it was put to the vote outside this little forum community, then Clyde's point of view would certainly prevail. For example, supposing you held a survey at the Basingstoke(do they have one) shopping precinct; would the results say "power to Silverboy's elbow, why shouldn't he cut himself a slice of tasty student now and then?" I don't think so, I think the people stopped and asked would suggest he should be sacked and prosecuted for even a slight nibble of his students.
