Beelzebub

That is very true in principle. It is a part of my life experience as well, my life has not always been rosy, when I was imprisoned for political reasons and when I had to escape and became a refugee, for example. However, I am sure that individual people deal with such situations differently, and not necessarily all of them grow and mature as a result from that and may be facing a trauma for the rest of their life instead.
It's clear, your life has not been an easy one. The problem is and has been for a long time is that well-meaning folk like yourself try and avoid the troubles you have endured being revisited on your children and in doing so have set the bar too low for them. The charter is now written for the young that life should be a vicissitude-free zone from conception to the grave and they are not geared up at all to put up with and swim through the muddy waters of life. In other words they have become spoilt brats.
