I think you raised some good points in your post Drags. I chuckled a bit when I heard the term "peaceful Chinese village". I wonder how many small villages the OP has visited in China. I have visited a few of them, I found them to be mostly dusty, dirty, dull and boring. And the people there were not so friendly, although a few were.

You don't expect them to be friendly surely- I imagine that you and Dragonized cut a scary pair of individuals to them, two lumbering great blue-eyed westerners with paunches- no disrespect but these small village people dion't see many westerners-difficult to be friendly if you're afraid. You are far far too sensitive Silverboy, and you end up getting the wrong end of the stick- I should take both of you under my wing hahaha- all good fun.
