I have been seriously burned(talking thousands)- but was my own fault because it should have been clear to me that this FT was not to be trusted- it's the feeling of being taken for a ride, not not just the loss of the money. However, we should be careful because these little bad experience can give us false justification for never helping again; so we should always risk the loss when trying to help.
