Unlike many other FTs, I have qualified for Z visas and came by a Z visa only in the past. These days, under the new visa regulations, I would most likely qualify for the new R visa (so-called highly talented experts) but I will no longer accept any employment offer from China.

True, you probably would, although I heard they were only giving those out to scientists and the like. Perhaps as hard to get as say a green card for the USA?
