In the Huadu district of Guangzhou, there was a story going round about some gangster getting beheaded with a machete in the middle of the Rolls nightclub. I take that story with a pinch of salt. But in other parts of China, I have seen a fair few savage beatings take place outside clubs to say the least, which definitely weren’t one on one, plus they will continue kicking people even as they lay knocked out on the floor.
