I'll bet his GF told him to get a another job, or second job to make more money. I have seen and heard about this so many times. Foreigners with Chinese GF's or wives. For the first few weeks everything is ok. Then the greedy and selfish demands begin. However, if they ask the wife or GF to do the same thing there is an uproar.

We all tend to witness so many shitty things with a lot of Chinese women or hear the horror stories. The strange thing is that even though my girlfriend is weird and absolutely crazy, she is a far more reasonable and logical person than 99% of Chinese girls that I usually meet/hear of. I kind of feel rather lucky at times.
