Hi I've had great difficulty in finding anything too and your right it is ridiculous!! But hope this helps- have a look on www.timesonline.co.uk ad - Teach in India. It is a private concern setting up a new school in North India. As i am based in the UK - the offer is to cover flight costs and accomodation and pay a moderate salary (enough to survive in India on). Given that your based in the U.S i think you should contact them to find out what they can offer. It would involve teaching kindergarten to 12yr olds and that's all i know at the moment as i have only just applied.
