I agree with that:

First, a topic like prostitution is not an appropriate topic for an ESL board.

Second, all prostitution is exploitation of women and men inviolved in the same (yes, there are male prostitutes as well and also children!). It'a a rotten "industry" and no option for anyone who is "desperate" as it is also humiliating. The alternative is to provide other options for those who are "desperate" - social security and/or other kinds of funds to support people in need.

I don't agree that any topic which affects FT's and their lives is inappropriate. However, you have shifted your views and that's good. You have come out against the abusers of women on this site and that is welcome indeed,
