I quite like the aussie pubs also. They have a very down to earth character. There used to be one near where I grew up in England called the Walkabout. One thing the aussies and us pommies like in equal measure, beer and cricket. I had a mate called chuck from sydney who married an english girl, he used to live in a small house at the local cricket club, he would be in the cricket clubhouse every friday and after every cricket match on sundays without fail! Fosters is a piss poor lager in the UK however:(:(
