Yeap, I have yet to meet a 100 percent honest and good one. Just had a coffee at a portuguese cafe in Macau, and the waitress from the phils gave me the usual "but I am so poor, and earn too little" line. Ah that old one, it has been tried or tested, or rather become tired or tested. They honestly feel no shame in being so manipulative, is of course wrong to us, but as a brit guy once told me what a girl from the phils told him, is something to be mindful of:

"In the phillipines, it is not being dishonest to lie, it is called being economical with the concept of truth"!!!!!

Basically they defend lying!!!!
