Lots of things are no longer british owned. The Indians for example have bought out the Tetley group, Qatar has bought up prime real estate in London (the shard), and the Chinese own MG Rover. I doubt that are very few UK success stories left given the rise of China, India and the oil rich gulf states. It seems the tide is turning to the east, I admire your zeal for defending the UK, but it is pretty much a lost cause....no manufacturing going on there anymore, even the phillipines is getting the call centre work now.
