Interesting how the current UK government is touting HS2 as being all the rage, yet it will still take 1 and a half hours from London to Manchester and that is if it ever gets built way off in the distant future, meanwhile China has high speed trains whizzing all over the place.

And here we are in the 21st century, if we had kept concorde London to Manchester would have took minutes, not an hour and a half!!!!
