Re Teach English in China Recruiter

I'm looking for both positive and negative comments before I commit myself.

Hahaha! You'd have to be a bit of a silly arse to even pay a recruiter £5, Corina; or is this a bit of a stitch-up? I'm all for agents who work hard for their money and get their placement fees where they should do; from the school. Why on earth would you want to pay £500 which could be a fortnight's wages for you at the resulting school? Have you done your sums as to what percentage of your net wages 500 quid would be? There's an embarrassment of the latter-type recruiters all champing at the bit to find you a job. Bloody Hell, girl, pull yourself together.....unless you are joking!? 13 days time eh? unlucky for some- lucky for others.

NO!!!!
Do not pay!
There are tons of recruiters who don't charge the teachers.
And if possible, apply directly to schools.

Teach English in China Recruiter

Hi,

Has any one been offered a TEFL job in China through Teach English in China Recruiter, http://teach-english-in-china.co.uk/.

I've been offered a placement but it will cost me over £500, the 1st payment to be paid in 13 days time.

I'm looking for both positive and negative comments before I commit myself.

Regards,
Corina
