I'll probably end up doing that. Anyone actually doing that has to be careful, though. I want to minimize the 'collateral damage' it'd do. There are some GOOD people in TESOL, and the industry has a lot of potential. The tightrope act is telling the truth that needs to be told without hurting the industry as a whole or the (rare?) good people in it.

TESOL is indeed a racket, but at times I HAVE had a student in a class or two who has demonstrated a truly genuine desire to learn EFL. These students I've helped, or at least I like to think I have. I sure hope I have, anyway.
