Most of the Filipinos musicians that I've met were fine. They would go to the nearby barbecue when the hotel bar that they were performing at closed, or even then go to the nightclub; so some of us would occasionally bump into them, as we'd regularly go to that particular street barbecue too or to that hotel's lobby bar, because we'd do the hotel's buffet dinner now and again. The lads were definitely good to have a drink with and I'd do nothing more than playfully flirt with the birds really, although a mate reckons that he shagged one of them.

So I wouldn't say that they're a 'bad race,' you've probably just met the sort that aren't exactly marriage material.

Mind as you, as I said... There are some Filipino performers that are forced to double up as prostitutes, although that rarely happens in the bars at Western branded hotels though. They're normally well looked after, stay in the hotel etc.

Latino bands have mostly replaced Filipino bands these days due to visa issues though.
