FT's, do not listen to what the GW's and recruiters on this board and other sites say: People who say a HK visa run is no problem. They don't care about you, they only care about exploiting you and stealing your money.

Totally right. I was in email contact with a UK FT in Guangxi recently. He said I could come on a L visa, I said no way, I will come on a Z visa and wait for the papers in HK, I'll only then go to China when the Z visa has gone through and is in my passport. He then tried the, that will cost us/you more money and time, I said I don't mind.

FT's should heed your advice, these rats won't pay anything if you end up stuck in HK alone, and with no visa.
