Re Leviticus

I'd agree that Christians put things in context. They also don't get offend if someone draws a cartoon of the pope, or images of the virgin mary are displayed. A danish newspaper prints a cartoon, and christians in nigeria end up getting burned in tyres......

Re Leviticus

Hmm no there isn't really any interpretation or context problems for anyone. If the act is an abomination to God AND is a unique way to separate Israelites into a unique people then so be it.

Likewise, there isn't some crazy 'interpretations problem' for you to chortle about. Christians responsibly understand the context in Leviticus and that ceremonial laws are superceded by Grace. Usually its atheist (antitheists) and hacky internet comedians who foolishly attribute and confuse the concept "..ya and so is eating shellfish and you don't see that..". Even better the Christians put these things in greater context. For example they understand the implications of their teaching that one man was intended to marry one woman for life. (implications is the idea here) and even further they apply real life standards and practice. They don't see it as 'good' to watch someone fall into despair, drugs, sexual depravity etc.

It might be you are bemused and critical of your own misunderstandings?
