I don't know why they look 'stupid'? When I see any other combination in any other country I dont perceive the foreign spouse as 'looking stupid.

They are usually the morons telling people on message boards like this to "respect the
culture" and learn Chinese, lol!

No, I dont' agree with that. I do not think they are the same people at all. They don't go on message boards saying that and when I speak with them they are usually the most devoid of those attitudes.
