A Q visa doesn't entitle you to take a job. In case you do watch out - there can be raids by immigration, and the TC boss you are dealing with may not pay you. Then, you can't do anything. Anyone with a bit of self-respect would not get himself into such a position where you are at the mercy of a crappy TC owner!

Yes, I was thinking that about the Q visa. I seem to have been granted it because I have a friend or relative in China; a friend or relative that I am not aware of. OH MY GOD! I fly out on Tuesday. I will be back on the site in a few weeks when I have settled in China.
