Agreeing to disagree is fine with me, if that's what you are suggesting; and, i'll summarize our "rabbish" here below, if you don't mind.
There are people who teach English in one language and then there are people who do that in two languages. Then, there are mothers who teach their children English in one language and then there are mothers who do that in two languages. How such practices work out for those folks depend on readers of the board to comprehend.It's not "rubbish" but you mix native and foreign language acquisition. There are
some significant differences between the two, even in early childhood.
Conclusively, teaching a second language is a hard job that requires a lot of considerations; whether our mothers or schools have done their jobs well enough and whether we can follow up in our positions accordingly remains up to readers and perhaps the society to judge.
