Re You Can't Understand China Unless You Know How the Communist Party Thinks

So, who would have been the one that certainly brought English to Chinese? Although I wasn't so certain when I posted that Deng started English in Chinese schools, I thought his Army's misfortune at the river near Russian border and a cigar in the White House may have put him in the English language mood.

Deng certainly is the one who initiated the modernization of China and hence helped make it
become what it is today. He certainly did not introduce English instead of
Russian
to China. ForeignLanguage Policy in China's education system was certainly
none of his topics
.

Don't equate Chinese people an culture with the CPC! They are entirely two different pairs of
shoes!
I can't agree more, except that you'd need more shoes to relate to Chinese history. The Gin Gis Khan (please correct me again if I am wrong) shoe, for example, would be pretty tough to fit in.

In any case, if someone came up with "You Can't Understand America Unless You Know How Republicans Think", I would cry.
