It's Deng Xiaoping in Pinyin.
I had never heard of the bloke(teng or deng) so i asked my Linda, and she said the teng was quite obviously a typing error and the other poster obviously meant 'Deng' She is very wise my little student. Nearly as wise as you Turnoi.
