How wrong you are, I have my own center and I make more money here than the middle class from any country does, also Foreigners are the only trusted experts/professionals when it comes to English learning, every other Chinese know that Chinese 'English' teachers are rubbish

There are many FTs that work in China because they love the country, its culture and its people. I am one of them.
Unlike other posters, we are not experts on the country's prostitution industry, nor do we struggle vainly to establish relationships with members of the opposite sex.
Rather, we are thrilled to closely observe a beautiful land that is foreign to our own as it rapidly evolves into a modern world power.
We too must cope with a changing regulatory environment for FTs in China, but since we are genuinely qualified and well-educated our travails are minimal.
The rewards for our efforts come in the form of student achievements, not the comparative purchasing power for Snow Beer and dark alley dalliances.
In China salaries for FT teachers are very low and westerners are not that important anymore. Why you spend the best days of your life living and working in a place you don't like. Best to all.
