I guess it depends on your definition of 'smart' though.

Perhaps the great Doc and my ex-wife, (Assumed), would consider themselves to be 'smarter' than you or I when it comes down to academic ability, but we are probably 'smarter' than they are when it comes down to which of us is the most 'street-wise'.
