It's time for foreign teachers to send a message to China. The current standing acceptance of abusing foreign teachers with: Random public attacks resulting in death or severe and or permanant injury, random door knocking with arrest and detainment then deportation, contract reneging or bait and switch, salary manipulation, no notice contract breaking and defrauding of funds, failure to pay, and many more will no longer be tolerated. We are advising all foreign teachers to boycott China completely until changes are made to protect teaching professionals.

If you have not obtained a Z visa it is advised to back out of any commitment you've made with a mainland China company or school. If you've already flown to China on an L visa or other visa type you have an option to walk away right now from the school or organisation without harm or threat to yourself. Those of you who must take a position in China because of lack of options try to protect yourself with due diligence: research of the recruiter or school and area of the school, careful review of the contract, etc.

THIS MUST HAPPEN EVEN IF ONLY FROM NOW UNTIL THE END OF THE NEXT SCHOOL YEAR!!!

The Beijing government has been deporting teachers by the thousands in the last three years and usually just due to conflicts with western opinions or political posturing. Many scam outfits and shady recruiters will be forced out of business due to inability to fill positions. Only through peaceful solidarity can foreign teachers push for change.
