Fed up with yank spelling.

Yank spelling isn't such a problem when the pronunciation is the same. Noah Webster did an excellent job in bastardising (or should that be bastardizing) our language.

But why didn't he go the whole way? Why isn't 'Phonetic' spelt like it sounds?

Bonnet/Hood - Boot/Trunk - Car Park / Parking Lot...........the list goes on..........
