I agree with what you said in your post. Cambodia is certainly off the list for me now, even though I could just live there and have a GF if I wanted to.

There is no way I can spend a lot of money in a country with such a racist, stupid, and discriminatory policy.

Agree with you about the Thais also to some extent. It seems the government there does not care about terrorism, or making Thailand the long-term choice for Western men that it once was. They will be the losers in all this, as their economy will continue on it's downward spiral.

As China is closing itself of to the West, this would the time for the Thais and Cambodians to take advantage, but the birdbrains in charge of those nations
are far to stupid to work it out.

What about Myan Mar (Burma) or Laos (Vientiane is the capital)?
Also Mongolia, specifically Ulaan Bator, could be ok for those who can bear the cold.
