It is only a matter of choice for women in the largest cities. In second tier cities most women still marry for money. Most Chinese women only care about two things in life: 1) Marriage 2) Money
If they want to marry it is only for money. Marriage = money for Chinese women.
Which is nothing but prostitution. Chinese women however have proven time and time again they are nothing more than glorified prostitutes.
I often heard foreigners in China talking about how and why prostitution ( marriage for money) was so rampant in China.
You seem to have a grudge against Chinese women.
In the case of a flash marriage between a predatory FT and a naive, lovelorn female Chinese student, it's good to see a Shanghai court intervening to order a divorce after recognition of the claims of her parents! The court did the right thing, no doubt about it!
