Re Provinces that don't require a 4 year degree?

Once you arrive in China the agent will tell you to begin work on your tourist visa. They will send you to HK every 90 days to keep renewing your TOURIST visa. Once you receive your first salary, you will be breaking the law and subject to fines, deportation and worse.

Since you are working illegally, you have no leverage to negotiate with them. At any time they can stop paying you, require that you work at another school, work insane hours, and provide you substandard housing. Any contract provisions are moot because they are unenforceable by you.

Finish your education at home; Chinese students deserve fully qualified teachers working legally.

Re Provinces that don't require a 4 year degree?

Thanks for all the help, guys.

The agency that is helping me said that the only place I would be able teach in (without a 4 year degree) are training centers. I guess the school will be giving me an illegal Z visa, since I don't have a bachelor's degree?
