Since midnight a dude's been drilling in the road in front of my window, and the substandard construction vehicles and workers that most likely won't get their 300 percent holiday pay haven't stopped on the large filthy rich Chinese man's project in my neighborhood too. It's been so noisy that even my kids whom I am now explaining the local laws could not sleep well. Yes, I teach my kids what kinds of societies the truly developed nations and Chinese have; and, yes, we've got to go back to bed after this lesson to sleep through the glorious Chinese day.
