The problem with microsoft is they always mither for upgrades and so on. Linux lets you update as and when you like, a major bonus imho. Windows 10 requires one of the latest computers, so not much good for those with an older PC is it? Put linux on an older pc and it can run well, and it is free to boot. Good to see that there are many renouncing microsoft and moving to Linux, I am sure you agree.

Using Linux mint mate 18 here, LTS until 2021 I do believe, very good, as is even the cinammon desktop version. Not too keen on the kde one, that is for people who want a windows 10 look and have fancy damn graphics.....so mate is good enough.
