Re maybe going home to the west could mean death

I remember in Australia about how some malaysian politician was going on about how Australia should ensure the safety of Malaysian students in Australia, and prevent racism against them, think the Chinese did similar. The australian government cannot be held responsible for some racist uneducated unemployed idiots, so it is pot calling the kettle black to me. If everything was reciprocal, Australia/western countries should demand that China stops with the racism, treats foreigners as truly equals, and yes, allow permanent residency if the foreigner in question, regardless of Chinese wife or not, wants it. Malaysia should do it's utmost to rid itself of barbaric practices like stoning and so on in that muslim area, and ensure that tourists can have a beer without some muslim malay getting all wound up about it. Malaysia wants tourism, then they are going to have to allow drinking, only alternative is to become like Brunei or somewhere with islamic law. You couldn't make it up!
