Why is it OK to offend minority groups?

For example, which do you adopt?:-

1) All terrorists are Muslims
2) All Muslims are terrorists

Just because certain people from certain groups are idiots, doesn't mean every member of that group should be tarred with the same brush.

That's not just insulting, that's out-and-out RACISM !

Believe me, I would be the one shouting the loudest cheers if PC were eradicated, but PC and racism are not the same.

Racism is just plain stupid, serves no purpose, and belongs in the Middle Ages.
Everyone is human, FIRST. The colour of their skin/ethnicity is not.
