California Senate leader proposes 'safe zones' where immigration enforcement would be barred

Most Californians agree with the following, [poster], because most of California voted blue:

“To the millions of undocumented residents pursuing and contributing to the California Dream, the state of California will be your wall of justice should the incoming administration adopt an inhumane and over-reaching mass-deportation policy,” [California Senate President] De León said in a statement Wednesday.

In seeking to establishing “safe zones” for immigrants in the country illegally, SB 54 would require California schools, hospitals and courthouses to adopt policies that limit immigration enforcement on their premises to the fullest extent possible consistent with federal and state law.

Your handle [poster] is funny. Did any illegal immigrant steal your handle? Or were you trying to create confusion with Turnoi's handle?

He he he

Re: Re US Criminals

the migration into the US by Mexicans is now lower than the migration from
the USA of Mexicans returning to Mexico.

Yes, its true that it will go up and down in waves. 2 enter for every 1 that leaves. Then 1 of those might leave but the spouse and 3 children stay. Later he might return with 2 others and yep.

But soon most will be leaving permanently.

Re: Re US Criminals

See my previous post about the fact that it is not the way it used to be: since the big recession, the migration into the US by Mexicans is now lower than the migration from the USA of Mexicans returning to Mexico.
