Re How the weather affected the outcome of world war 2

I am a US Navy Veteran. I don't feel insulted by Obama or anyone else going to Hiroshima. People with small and unforgiving minds find all kinds of things to be insulted by or pissed off at. Moreover, you are definitely not in a position to speak for "ALL" veterans, many of whom are right minded and reflective and quite capable of a kind of discernment that apparently escapes you.

"Japs" is a pejorative that should have died out years ago, yet you still use it. I find that interesting in and of itself. Nevertheless, they are Japanese, not Japs.

Yes, the Japanese military did many bad things. So did the rest of the world. The inquisition went on for 450 years. That was some seriously bad shit. But we sweep that stuff under the rug and still kowtow to religious leaders and those who lead under the guise of religion.
