Really? - Teachers Discussion

We are simply profiteers and opportunists that cash in on a huge trend that favours anglos. The interest of many anglos in finding a TEFL job often is motivated by their own problems in raising enough money and repay their loans they took from banks to fund their study at university. This, plus the anglos' somewhat peculiarly shallow interest of touching down on just about everty exotic place, then jet off to another destination, is powerfully at work. Most anglos don't take teaching as seriously as their local counterparts do; look at your teacher colleagues from, say, China, - they have a superior teaching-related educational background and normally pursue a career. None of them would think it normal to "teach their way around the world".

That's quite the paintbrush you're using. Any keen and enlightened thoughts about the French? Arabs?
