Re Americans who voted against Trump are feeling unprecedented dread and despair

That's because out of 330 million people, Trump and Clinton were the 'best' that could be offered to the American people.

I have no doubt that there are many 'anti-Brexit' supporters who feel the same way.

Staying in bed for 4 years may sound like a good idea, but if Trump pisses China off any further I doubt your nice fluffy blanket will protect you.

Americans who voted against Trump are feeling unprecedented dread and despair

Curious: You are not alone!

I have never seen anything quite like the grief being felt by the majority of American voters who did not vote for Donald Trump.

This is not simply a case of Hillary Clinton supporters being bad losers. For most of those who feel traumatized by what happened on Nov. 8, this is not about the candidate who won the popular vote, yet lost the election. It is about the candidate who was picked as president by the electoral college on Monday. People are mourning because the fate of their country will now be in the hands of an intellectually disinterested, reckless, mendacious narcissist.

Those who are troubled by Trump’s ascendancy are almost equally distressed by the mindset of their fellow citizens who voted for him. It is understood that most Trump supporters are decent folks, many of whom have been left behind by changes in the global economy. But how can they believe some of the things they believe? In a post-election survey, the Public Policy Polling organization found that 67% of Trump voters think unemployment increased during Barack Obama’s presidency while only 20% know the opposite is actually true. Though the stock market skyrocketed to record heights during the Obama years, 60% of those who voted for Trump either do not know it or do not believe it. Forty percent of Trump voters also say their candidate won the popular vote, even though Clinton now leads in the count by nearly 3 million ballots.

Re Final results: Hillary got 2,865,075 votes more than him

The produced electoral college accident is a shame of the American democracy which the White House sells around the world. The filthy rich ones, who have their fingers in the manipulation of American people, are worse than any terrorist on Earth.

The staged electoral college accident is partly due to the US administration cycles. In recent times, Democrats and Republicans seem to take turns in the White House; from Bush to Clinton to Bush to Obama to now Trump.

The Rudy Giuliani's words may be one of the better summaries of the electoral college accident; "We didn't want any socialism in America". So, he says he's hooked Donald with a few important people (on golf courses) to put such attempts down.

That's almost 3 million votes (link below)

So, we don't need to read anything on this board about trump having been chosen by the American people because it did not happen. He was elected by an electoral college accident.

If you look at the pic below, the tiny little red line at the bottom is his vote.

The Democrat outpaced President-elect Donald Trump by almost 2.9 million votes, with 65,844,954 (48.2%) to his 62,979,879 (46.1%), according to revised and certified final election results from all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Clinton's 2.1% margin ranks third among defeated candidates, according to statistics from US Elections Atlas.
