Re Christmas Shopping in China

My kids'
questions of why their gifts are "open" had to be answered that "Santa
had run out of time at night".

Haha ! At least you're doing 'your bit' for the environment, lol. No 'excess rubbish' to dispose of, eh?

Happy Christmas !

Christmas Shopping in China

Many shops advertise Christmass in PRC. Although businesses are eager to sell gifts under the trees, their assistants often don't have any wrapping paper. Some shopping malls have individual counters with all kinds of fine paper to buy separately but many where I have been don't bother at all. A luxurious center with a huge "red tree" screaming Christmas in front has got absolutely nothing for my kids presents, and so I have been forced to put unwrapped boxes under our beautifully decorated green tree. My kids' questions of why their gifts are "open" had to be answered that "Santa had run out of time at night". :)

Merry Christmas
Caring
